New to thunderbird.

Is it possible to synchronize my online hotmail calendar with Thunderbird on my PC? I am currently using the Thunderbird lightening calendar add-on but could change to another if needed.

I can see how this is achieved for google and yahoo calendars but not the MS live.com / hotmail calendar.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Microsoft have chosen to offer only Microsoft Proprietary access to the calendar on outlook.com.

Other providers use the public standard caldav. Microsoft only use activesync for which they can charge developers a royalty payment.
