Hi,

I have read some information about Firefox not supporting or Adobe dropping support for Flash. Java is also not going to be supported?

Is it just that Google Chrome has created internal plug-ins or extensions/add-on's that handle Flash and Java?

Here are two replies:

Mozilla made the decision to end support for all NPAPI plugins over a year and a half ago. Flash support will continue at least thru 2017.

Besides Oracle has been in process of discontinuing their Java Plugin as you can see in postings on https://blogs.oracle.com/java-platform-group/

Flash will be around for awhile yet, but all other plugins are now deprecated.

All web browsers are going with HTML5 to handle what external plugins have handled in the past.

It is now up to content providers to switch over to the "native" technologies for multimedia presentations in web browsers.
