Firefox for Android no longer allows save to reading list. Not sure when this started; I just verified failure of this function today, after failing to find a recent save.

As far as I know the default plugin for desktop firefox installed is 'Pocket'. You can use the 'Pocket Hits' addon for mobile to keep everything synchronised. Hope this helps
