Since Hurricane Irma hit Florida and the FireFox update, every time I try to upload a photo to Inkbunny, FaceBook, Twitter and GooglePlus, the circle turns counter clock wise and then sometimes turns the other way but usually times out before any of my photos are able to load. I am checking to see if it is a ISP problem and some sites say there may be technical issues with their sites but I am having this problem on all the sites I previously had no problems with.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

I have started the computer and the software in safe modes and the problem continued in those modes when I tried to upload to twitter. Does this confirm Firefox is not the problem?

Could be a mass of things, refresh firefox by going to your "about:support" then click "refresh firefox"

Then give your PC 2 quick scans: JRT: https://www.malwarebytes.com/junkwareremovaltool/ Then with the main app: https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thankyou/

I would also power off and on your Modem and Router.

Could possibly be a firewall blocking the upload as well
