Sync bookmarks form my PC to iPAD/iPhone Safari using icloud Add-on not working.

more options

I have Firefox v 61.0 (64bit) running on my window 10 PC.

I am trying to sync my bookmarks to my ipad and iphone through the icloud for windows software that install the addon on FF to manage sync. For some reason this is not working at all. This used to work a few weeks ago, so I don't know if it an update issue. I have tried most of the forum articles. Uninstalled firefox, deleted the profile folder and imported all book marks again, but it didnt help. I reinstalled icloud for windows aswell. I also tested icloud with Edge, and any changes done on edge are synced successfully to the ipad / iphone. Also, I have now firefox on the ipad so I can have bookmarks with me. I don't know if this interferes with the sync to safari. I tried off loading the application, but still safari does not sync with firefox.

Any help would be approciated.

Thanks, Daniel

Sorry that you are having that problem, but when the problem is with an add-on it is up to the developer of said add-on to provide support for it. Apple, Inc is the add-on developer in your case.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/icloud-bookmarks/

This - https://support.apple.com/choose-country-region/icloud - is the stated Support Site for that add-on.

If a support contributor here happens to use or be familiar with that add-on and can help you, they may show up today. Otherwise it may be a waste of your time waiting for support from this forum.

Hello and thank you for the reply.

I'll try to make contact with the apple community. In the mean time, how are you sue it is a problem with the addon? I'll need to get some more detail just in case Apple directs me back to mozilla. It worked well with edge, and communication back to icloud happens on the same ssl ports for both internet browsing products.

From the FF log that was sent, are these settings correct?

thank you again. Daniel
