I cannot seem to save "all" of a web page from long forums.

I have attempted to save various forum webpages, but the saved page ends short of the complete page. In order to save the entire page I must first save the page (as a complete webpage), then scroll down a bit, save again with a new name, scroll a bit further and save again, etc. Is there a way to REALLY save the complete page?

If you use Save Page As and select the "Web Page, complete" format, then Firefox is supposed to grab all of what you see in the tab.

Is it missing things that are already loaded in the tab, or is the problem that Firefox doesn't auto-load more content from the server into the page? You might need an add-on to auto-load more of the page if the manual method of scrolling and waiting is not efficient for you.

Is your question about the Screenshot issue?

You're right, the size of the image is limited.

I am referring to the File: Save page as... Function.

Ah, I did not realize that the entire page did not autoload, but that makes a great deal of sense. So, what you are saying is that if I were to scroll to reveal the entire page, top-to-bottom, allowing it to load all of the content. that the "Web Page, complete" would actually capture the entire page, correct? If that is what you mean, then you have definitively solved the problem.

That said, I did find a great add-on, SingleFile, that saves the entire page in one file without the need for an additional folder for content. I will be using that add-on from here-on-out.

Thank you very much jscher2000. Excellent help there.

I read about SingleFile but haven't tested it. Glad to hear it works for you. Although you probably still need to scroll down?

I do not need to scroll down at all with SingleFile. I had my doubts about it at first, but I am copying hundreds of pages and all I need to do is load the page, no scrolling necessary and click the icon. The page is saved without an extra folder and exactly as the original. The options are manifold as well. I am very impressed with it.

Again, thank you jscher2000.
