Moving Thunderbird from XP to Windows 10 - Does not remember password - Password table is empty.

more options

Dear all, A client with windows XP (omg) wants to transfer the thunderbird profile to Windows 10. From xp's profile (found it on troubleshoot etc) i got the thunderbird folder and moved it to the new machine.

All folders and emails came up but it does not remember the password. On get messages the password window is prompt, i put the password and check the box to save the password.

I receive the emails but it forgets its. I can not find any passwords on stored passwords table.

I tried to delete pck and keys db but nothings happened!

Any help would be great thanks!

After reading this post: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1353831

I deleted the pkcs11.txt , cert*.db, key*.db, and secmod.db files in the profile.

And on prompt message it asked me to store it on password manager!

Thanks a lot!
