Mozilla Crash Report
Hello, I've been trying to use my Firefox browser for the past week and nothing I do seems to work. Whenever I click the icon on my Windows desktop, it sends me the following Mozilla Crash Report:
We're Sorry
Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts.
To help us diagnose and fix the problem, you can send us a crash report.
I've restarted my computer and tried to change multiple settings, but the same pop up message keeps appearing. I've checked the box that sends the crash to Mozilla and clicked the button that says Restart Firefox, but still nothing. There's also a "Detail" button that provides a bunch of information that I'm not sure how to interpret haha but I can try to copy that if you think it would be helpful.
I would appreciate any help. I'm looking to get a new computer (not sure if that is part of the issue), but I'm really hoping to be able to save the bookmarks I had.
Thank you.

The articles linked below may help. The files containing bookmarks are places.sqlite and favicons.sqlite. I would also backup the folder bookmarkbackups and its contents.

If you have submitted crash reports, please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that start with "bp-".
- bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can find the report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page.
- click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.
Alternately, you can open about:crashes via the location/address bar.

I randomly keep getting the Mozilla Crash Reporter dialog box showing up on my desktop even when I haven’t used Firefox, with the following Mozilla Crash Report: "We're Sorry Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts. To help us diagnose and fix the problem, you can send us a crash report." Asking me to submit a crash report. After the first 3 or 4 times, with “Tell Mozilla” box checked, I’d click ‘Quit Firefox’ and it would go away only to reappear later. I tried clicking ‘Restart Firefox’ and the box disappears, but Firefox does not start –nothing. Then, randomly, Crash Reporter shows up again. It’s getting annoying, and I wrote a comment similar to this and submitted that with the Crash Report. It still keeps happening. I thought it might be a hack, so I’m here on the website now reporting. Please help.
