I cannot get bookmarks to save in this new piece of crap you created. why can't we go back to the other version. Is there a way to get away from this piece of crap you created call 4? Damn you. I lost my norton add on that would put in the right passwords for me and now I c annot save anything in bookmarks. Why put out a piece of crap like this before testing it? Jerks. I am looking for a job and how am I going to save the posts aholes?

Possibly the problem here is that anti-virus software on your computer is not recognizing the new version of Firefox and is preventing it from modifying your profile folder where we save the bookmarks. This makes Firefox unable to save your modified bookmarks.

We try to let anti-virus software vendors know well in advance of us releasing a new version so that they can update their databases to recognize Firefox 4 and nor prevent it from working properly. However sometimes they don't update until after we ship.

If the problem is indeed related to anti-virus software, while you wait for that to be updated you can download the previous version of Firefox here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older

This new stupid firefox version will not let me save bookmarks if it is already saved somewhere else. It used to let me. If i want to save monster.com again for example, I have to save the bookmark in a different folder. Netscape used to let us go into and edit the bookmarks as well. Say you wanted to take off the one /xxx at the end, you could in netscape. Firefox never has had that. You have to go up to the top bar after going to the site, and then take off the part and re-bookmark it and then drag it up next to where the old bookmark was and erase the old bookmark. This is something else you need to work on. I now do not have my norton toolbar that automaticly put in saved passwords and names. When looking for jobs it is nice to have. I do not like to have firefox save it. I wish you folks would have made tests and told poeple in advance that the norton toolbar would not be there so we would not download this version until it is fixed. With the stupid tab thing the top is so big you do not get to see the webpage. You have a worthless gray bar on the bottom taking up space. What the hell for? I wish you folks had some netscape people there, then they might show you how to make a browser. I still need to know how to be able to bookmark when ever I want no matter if it is already somewhere else on the list. Sometimes I like to have it in two spots. Once on top and once next to similar articles or job pages. Sorry to be so rough, but you folks need to work out this stuff and warn us that certain things like norton toolbars are not going to work before we download and try your hyped up new version.
