every time i reopen Firefox all previous customisations of my toolbars have reverted to the default how can i get the customisation of the toolbar to be saved & then available for my next session on Firefox
Every time i open Firefox my toolbar settings have reverted to the default basic toolbar settings. I then customise the toolbar adding several features such as the copy & paste buttons change buttons to show icons & text and tick the use small icons box. whilst using the browser all is fine. However the next time i reopen Firefox the customised settings are gone and just the basic default toolbar setting are there. I have no issues on my other computers but on my laptop i constantly have this issue. Settings on internet explorer are stable but my preference is firefox. what do i need to do.

This is caused by a problem with the file that stores customizations. For details of how to fix it see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Toolbar+keeps+resetting
