Firefox 4 and later require at least OS X 10.5 and a Mac with an Intel processor.
If you need to reinstall Firefox 3.6.x then you can find the latest Firefox release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:
- Firefox 3.6: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
Firefox 3.6 worked fine - why did it un-install, and why does the firefsx icon produce Safari??
hello, updates were apparently wrongly offered to a subset of os x tiger users. the release team is working on a fix. sorry for that!
you can redownload version 3.6.28 for mac from the last link that cor-el has provided & install it again. afterwards please disable auto updates in preferences >advanced > updates.
