I cannot remember by about:config password how can I reset it?

I have tried to access about:config to get rid of AVG securesearch which has set itself to be my default search engine. However when I type in about:config I am asked for a password and cannot remember what I set it to previously. How can I reset this password without uninstalling firefox and losing all my settings?

Great, thanks. Resetting Firefox turned out to be the only way to deal with it.
