How do I close the pull down window I get when I right-click back arrow (left of address bar)? ESCAPE used to do it.

When a tab has some history associated with it, the back and forward arrows near the address bar (to it's lefet) open up that tabs history, when right-clicked.

But, I can't close this history popup window.

In the past, hitting escape closed this window. (firefox 14). Now (firefox 27) ESCAPE doesn't close the window.

How do I close this window?

(I would like to do this via the keyboard, and NOT BY JUST CLICKING some RANDOM place on the screen.)

Thanks Gingerbread Man.

My problem was an extension: MOUSELESS BROWSING.

I really like this extension, but it doesn't get much support.

Pressing Esc closes that menu for me in Firefox 29.0.1.

  1. Update Firefox to the latest release.
  2. Check if you have the same problem in Safe Mode.
