I have a user here that receives htm and winmail.dat attachments from a vendor. I installed winmail opener, but still there are a few that show up blank. The header for the email says picture, or quote, so I know there should be a viewable attachment there. I have lightning installed as well.

Chosen solution

have you contacted the vendor to advise them their email is unreadable due to configuration errors at their end. If your having issues and they are sending quotes that way, they would probably appreciate the feedback.

Point then to Microsoft's resolution to the issue. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Recipients-receive-a-winmail-dat-attachment-1735ba97-39b8-40d4-ba17-0e0150ef87a8?CorrelationId=a9a00de8-c7a2-4f6a-a1b2-171025929ec8&ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US
