Updated Flash Player to v18.0.0.194 this morning (via Add-ons Manager). Found out that this was also vulnerable so updated to v18.0.0.209 (again, via Add-ons Manager). Although Control Panel shows Flash as being v18.0.0.209, Firefox Add-ons Manager insists that it is still v18.0.0.194.

Have tried repeating the update to 18.0.0.209 after ensuring that there were no Firefox processes in the background but still no joy.

Thanks in advance for any assistance,

Frank

PS: Tried to upload images of the above Control Panel + Add-ons Manager but it just hangs and loses the rest of my post if I refresh the page ... sigh ...

Sometimes the simple answers are the best - uninstall completely then install as new worked fine!

Thank you!

Did you try to uninstall current Flash before install it again? Sometimes it is enough to fix issues.

If you have troubles to attach screenshot, you can use an external service like Imgur, next you just have to paste here the URL link.
