Exporting bookmarks not working
I have entered into about:config browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML True
Create string: browser.bookmarks.file F:\Firefox\Bookmarks.html
Created folder: F:\Firefox
Bookmarks are not getting exported.
Chosen solution
Ok on the manually export/import of the bookmarks, but the about:config preferences I listed are supposed to do it when closing Firefox.
Edit: I just rechecked to see if it was working and it is now. I don't know what the problem was, maybe because I had two browser windows open.
Thanks for the help.
Edit 2: If multiple Firefox windows are open, the bookmarks are written when the last window is closed.

To open the Bookmarks Manager, press the Alt or F10 key bring up the tool bar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control>(Mac=<Command>) <Shift> B.
Once the window is open, at the top of the page, press the button labeled Import and Backup. Select Export Bookmarks To HTML, and follow the prompts and save it to a HTML file. Copy the file to another computer. Repeat the instructions above, BUT select Import Bookmarks From HTML,

I think what you were talking about is the bookmarks backup option, not exporting.
Use one of these to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar to close Firefox and all open windows at once.
- "3-bar" menu button > Exit (Power button)
- Windows: File > Exit
- Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox
- Linux: File > Quit
