Firefox keeps crashing when starting, can't find profile in computer application support to back up
So today, on my Mac, every time I try to start up Firefox it automatically crashes and gives me the Mozilla Crash Reporter, and I've been sending crash reports every time with my email address but no help so far. It's weird, it just crashes without even loading a browser window first. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, just keeps crashing. I even tried to find my profile on my Mac library under application support, all I could find was a Mozilla folder with a folder called 'extensions", some source code pieces, and some that consist of zero bytes. It's getting really annoying ,and quite frankly I just want to fix this so I can save all my bookmarks. Can anyone help me out? I'musing Mac OS El Captian, not sure of the exact version number, if that helps.

hi quantumbaraka, this may likely be an issue with malware on your system - in order to take care of that, please see: Crashes on startup after the update to Firefox 46 on OS X

Actually, I did find Premieropinion malware on my computer, and now I'm using Firefox as we speak. Thanks for the suggestion, although how do I make backups of all my bookmarks that can be saved on a flash drive, just to be safe.
These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox
FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) {web link} FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your saved files individually into installable .xpi files. It will also make backups of files that you choose.
