There are some sites that do not refresh in Firefox - for example if I use the flight tracker in easyjet it does not supply the details. It works in MS Explorer

When I access some sites with Firefox and try to use a search facility nothing happens. For example the easyjet flight tracker. I enter the flight number and hit "Search" nothing happens. Note that the cursor changes to the "finger pointer" when I hover over the search, so the system obviously recognises that the button is valid for selection. Note that if I use the MS Internet Explorer browser there is no problem. I have noticed this happening on other sites. For example the Daily Telegraph site will not display some photos in Firefox but will in Explorer. Thanks

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

There is security software like Avast and Kaspersky and BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

This Connection is Untrusted is sometimes caused because the computer system clock is wrong. Check the time / date / time zone settings.
