why isn't thunderbird picking up my mail from my yahoo account?

Hi I am relatively computer illiterate so forgive me if this is a silly question. I accessed my yahoo mail account from a different computer last week, and now thunderbird won't pick up my messages from yahoo, saying the password does not match. I can still access my yahoo account with the same password no problem. Can anyone tell me how I can fix this? Many thanks.

have you enabled less secure apps on their web site? it is new and has to be done.
