Thunderbird emails just set up on new laptop / windows 10. Spacing not an issue on previous machine, nor on my smartphone email settings.

I noticed something similar, and other differences depending on my account (such as line-wrap). I cannot say if there was a design change - but I notice when I past text it tends to be single line spacing, yet when I use the enter key there is extra space (aka double-spacing). So - if it was a design change - that will need to be discussed I expect. However, when I want single spacing: a) don't press enter - just let the viewer do the line-wrapping b) press shift-enter

Hope this helps!

I would like a permanent correction to this spacing problem rather than something that needs to be done every time! Can anyone help me with this?

W/regard to single vs. double line spacing, I prefer single and would appreciate your REVERSING the shift/new line process. Or make it a checkoff option for the user. OR simply NL twice. I note that NL skips to the NEXT line here in this dialog box, BTW.

I am converting to Thunderbird and, for some time to come I fear, will be sending three blank lines often when I want only one.
