Pinterest button installed many times but won't show on toolbar
I disabled addons to see if button would show. it did show next time I installed, next to the "mozilla foundation (us), " in url box before the actual url, but then disappeared when I clicked on the symbol for it, to be replaced by a green lock.
Chosen solution
actually all i had to do was open firefox menu, where pinterest button showed on lower right, right click & select toolbar; & voila it appeared on toolbar
thx anyway

There is a security update; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version 50.0.2
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/changes-toolbars-and-window-sizes-are-not-saved You may have corrupt xulstore.json or Localstore.rdf file.
Close Firefox. Open your file browser to this hidden location:
- Mac: *~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/
- Linux: *~/.mozilla/firefox/
- Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
- *C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\
Locate the above files. Then rename or delete them. Restart Firefox.
In case that after the update the button still disappears or won't show at all; here's an add-on that should do the trick:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/pinterest-pin-button/
(by the way: that green padlock is supposed to be there, right next to 'Mozilla Foundation ')
