Why doesn't it work with my websites
So you changed to this API thing which now makes it so certain websites (mo.gov and ally.com) do not display correctly and completely renders my online banking website useless since I need Java in order to login and you no longer allow Java. WTF? I'm switching to Chrome because that is ridiculous. Your updates also apparently deleted saved login info on other sites. I am officially pissed. You need to fix this. I am so very disappointed since I have been using Firefox since I was in middle school (about 12 years).

Install Older Version Of Firefox {web link} Be sure to read everything here.
If you still want to downgrade, look under; I still want to downgrade. Click the Directory of other versions and languages link. Look for the directory of the version that you want. But, remember that old versions may have security issues.
You should also check out Firefox; Extended Support Release {web link}
Just to be sure, Java and JavaScript are different languages. To avoid confusion, see:

Regarding Ally bank: hardly any commercial websites use the Java plugin, but some banks do require an add-on called Trusteer Rapport. If your bank says this is needed, you probably need to access it using a different browser until Rapport is updated for Firefox 53.
Regarding saved login info: that shouldn't be deleted in an update. What happened exactly -- was everything cleared? Is the problem specific to certain sites or sites with an HTTP address? Did you lose bookmarks, add-ons, or other data at the same time?
