I have a problem with accounts on Thunderbird - size limit is 2gb, not 4gb as the documentation says. I reinstalled Thunderbird and it didn't help. Anyone know how to fix it? Limits of emails on our server is 5gb, so I think it is not a problem

Chosen solution

The limit is and always has been on a per folder basis, not a per account basis.

Those using non NTFS file systems often encounter the 2Gb limit imposed by their selection of file system type. Some versions of OSX and Linux with certain file systems are limited by the operating system to a maximum file size of 2Gb. So folders larger than that are limited by the operating system, not Thunderbird.

Ok, thanks. I realize that the problem is synchronization with the server, because in Properties -> Size Limits there is 2gb, on a server - 5gb. If you know how to fix it, please let me know
