can`t get ad block plus to work properly went back to old version please help me in getting it to work

tried the new firefox and ad block plus don`t work with it so done a system restore and have old versiopn back works perfect now tell me how to get ad block plus to work in new version i seen revews of new version and all of them say the same that nothing works so fix the problem before you have a download ready because the way it is now not worth a flip and junk browser
