How can I go back to the old new tab quicklink menu? The new one does not have enough slots

more options

Even with "show more" activated, the amount of slots available in the quicklink menu is not enough... the old layout barely had enough for me to fit all of my frequently-used sites, and now the number is even lower

Chosen solution

You can adjust the number of slots available in the new Activity Stream page by going to about:config in your addressbar, click the warning to proceed, and search for browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesCount and set it to whatever number of slots you want to show up.

Thank you very much. My only problem now is, is there a way to rearrange the slots, like it used to be possible in the previous version?

Unfortunately not, although I'm sure there is an issue open on Github to just that.

Ah, I see. Well, I managed to more or less get back my old layout by re-adding pages that were already there. A bit tedious, but it gets the job done.

Thank you very much for helping me out!
