My session setting is ”Show your windows and tabs from last time”. When I exit Firefox, recently closed tabs are still there. How to automatically clear them when I cleanly exit Firefox? The rest information should remain.

Not sure on doing it auto unless turn off History. But If click History open then click Clear Recent History.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Clearing history is good, but I lose some valuable data (e.g. URL of wiki article I was working on). Having history for ≈month is good for me, but I’m asking about another. I don’t want recent list even from previous session.

That is still linked to your history, so as long as you don't erase history the recently closed tab data will be present.
