I am getting russian porn girls after using 'adblock' and 'uBlock'. Those pages are simply popping up. What's going on ...? Cannot go to Youtube. The page opens only with the header of Youtube and nothing else. Am getting this "Mixed content blocking in Firefox".

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mixed-content-blocking-firefox?redirectlocale=en-US&as=u&redirectslug=how-does-content-isnt-secure-affect-my-safety&utm_source=inproduct

How can I tell if a page has mixed content? <<== Unblock mixed content ==>> 1. Click the lock icon in the address bar. 2. Is not working. So i cannot go to 3. Click Disable protection for now. "grey lock with an orange triangle" isn't working working for me from the address above. There are too many complications with the new update.

Hi, all this sound as if you have picked up some malware.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Note that not all removal programs will detect all malware, so you may need to run several or all of them.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us. Thank you!

I have read some of the complaints and some of them are really angry. And you ask people to be nice when they ask their qs. I think there are reasons for their being angry. Let me explain. For me, things started going wrong after the last update. I (also) started to ask my original q being angry. I decided not to and deleted it and rewrote my q. Your explanation about you thinking i may have picked up some malware crap is all wrong. I used a couple of software you mention to control to make sure and i found nothing wrong. In my original question i also asked about not able to go into Youtube, and i explained what i tried to do and what i was able and not able to do. You ignored this question completely. Why? Am not sure who is reading this. Am hoping you are a responsible person who makes reponsible decisions. I also see some of you answering you are simply volunteers and not employees of Firefox. I have read somewhere Firefox asking for volunteers. I have no problems with that. A lot of chef in the kitchen making one soup can make it sour and needs to be flushed down the toilet. You agree? I have a feeling that is what is going here. In "Microsoft Edge" i can do everything that i am unable to do in Firefox. In firefox i was not able to download a simple pdf file from my energy supplier. Which i was able to do in Edge with a couple of simple clicks. Today morning, in Firefox, none of the links is(are) working. Firefox is asking for a lot of permsions to do simple day to day things. And when i try to get permisions, like i explained with the Youtube question, which you ignored, seems too complicated. Or i cannot go from step 1 to step 2, because that option is greyed out or not functioning ... What the bonking hell are you guys doing? lol. It is nice, i think, to have all these securities to keep people safe from harm on the net. But you have to keep it simple for the users. You volunteers or developers or whoever you are can play your games. Or whatever you are doing. But ... try to keep things simple for the users. I have gone to another browser where i am comfortable now. If you want to keep playing games and mess things up with Firefox, that's where i am staying. Am hoping for a favourable reply and am hoping, whoever reading this is a responsible guy ... or gal. Have good day!
