Longtime Thunderbird user using three gmail accounts. Access mail using • Thunderbird Win 10 PC • Android gmail app tablet • iMail iOS 11 iPhone • iSO 11 gmail app iPhone Any known problems with functionality. For example if Thunderbird catches a new email address will it automatically show up in the address books for the other apps? Will deleting a message on one app fail to erase it on another? Will gmail’s auto deletion functions erase mail behind my back? Thoughts/experiances please. Jim

synchronization of mail requires that all apps use the IMAP mail protocol.

Thunderbird does not synchronize gmail address books without an add-on. See https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/gcontactsync/
