How the hell do I create a login so I can ask questions? There is no register option on the login screen. This is ridiculous!!

Apparently, I have to ask a question to register for the support website. So here is my question. Wouldn't it be sooooo much easier to have a register button on the login page LIKE EVERY OTHER WEBSITE???? Thank you so much.

Never mind. After searching with Google and the forum for well over an hour for a way to disable a Firefox "Feature" that was causing annoying side effects, I gave up and switched to Chrome. Just found the responses from you all in my spam folder this morning. Very frustrating that every link in the forum I found last week that claimed a solution sent me to another information page with another link. Eventually heard back from a friend on how to disable it. But he didn't know if I would have to repeat the exercise after each Firefox update. Let's just say it was a VERY frustrating morning that day. I appreciate the debug capabilities in Firefox. So I use it quite a bit. When it does goofy things, I can usually get an answer from the internet in minutes if not seconds. This one, not so much.

If Mozilla was going to implement the more traditional way of registering a account on this Kitsune platform like some forum software has then they would have done so years ago.

Most people new to this site have a issue(s) they want help on and Mozilla would prefer people ask it as a new thread and not hijack an existing thread that has same or similar question. The more traditional way of registering would increase the amount of using a existing thread hijacks upon first post. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/forum-rules-and-guidelines#w_posting-support-requests

Plus this Ask a Question introduces you to the Knowledge base https://support.mozilla.org/ during the process which may answer some or all of their issue(s) before submitting.

Mozilla is not significantly working on this old Kitsune platform anymore (unless that has changed in last few months) so Mozilla may not be doing any real new changes or features in meantime. Early on last year Mozilla actually moved the site to a Lithium platform that they had high hopes for but it had issues and Mozilla then moved it back to Kitsune after a while.

Btw now that you are registered you can discuss about this in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/forums/contributors as this Firefox section is for desktop Firefox.

That is for desktop Firefox and not for input on the support.mozilla.org site itself.
