Alright, not sure what happened, but today firefox on my phone blew through my entire data plan and then some in the space of 8 hours. I was not actively using the phone for most of this time as I was at work. Normally Firefox uses ~400MB a month. In the same period the Andriod OS used 1.07 gig of data as well. Any help would be appreciated.

Between 6:40 am and 2:00PM Firefox used .5 gigabytes of mobile data, 6 webpages were open. Between 2:06 and 2:38pm Firefox used 1.7 gigs of the total 2 gigs of data Foreground data usage 75.37 MB Background data usage 1.88 GB

Phone specs Google Pixel 2XL Android version8.1.0 Android Kernel 4.4.88 Fire Fox build 59.0.2

Hi

An element of this may have been the release of Firefox Quantum 60 when your device shoudl have updated, but the update is no way near that large.

Did the pages you had open have large media or video files playing?
