certain websites open multiples of the same page, when i try to go back to the previous page or home page it is open multiple times

this does not happen on all websites, but on certain sites it shows as being open sometimes too many times to be able to go back to Google home page

Yes, some sites seem to add history entries to the back button as you scroll through them. Very annoying. Usually if you right-click the Back button and choose the bottom entry, you can jump over them, although in some cases, you may need to repeat that a couple times.

I have been doing that but was hoping for a solution as this does not happen with other browsers

Ya, should not happen but if provide URL if it is not after being logged in some where or is personal can take a look at the page code and see if anything is going on that could figure it out.

Could try deleting the cookies for that site.

Just to make sure clear the cache while you are there also so it does not pull up a remembered version of the site.

If it changes anything, no idea. Also mouse sensitivity might want to see if when on those pages that something is different. Sites can collect data from mouse clicks so maybe.....
