When I restart Firefox the most recent tabs are missing after the Firefox upgrade and Win10 updates

Was advised to update Firefox (v54 I think) to most recent version v56 and when update finished a number of recent tabs were missing, and couldn't find them even with session manager.

The same thing happened (after v56 upgrade) when Win 10 "service" updates arrived and restart was done (after installing updates). I had closed FF down prior to update but when restarted a number (say 10) of recent tabs were not there although they appeared in the history.

Recent is FF61.0.1 your version is far behind the updates.

And that stopped the tabs from being restored?
