How to use contacts from GNOME Contacts?

I've opened an issue at gnome folks site (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/folks/issues/100) asking for adding Thunderbird backend. And here is the answer:

"Contacts internally uses libfolks to manage contact backends, so I'm going to move this over there. If someone were to implement that (development is quite low), that would mean you could use your Thunderbird contacts in GNOME Contacts. If you want to be able to use contacts from GNOME Contacts, you'll have to ask the Thunderbird developers."

Any help?

El tema que el foro de soporte es para ayudar solucionar problemas de configuracion, funcionamiento, uso, pero no estas contactando a los desarrolladores. Una modificación o desarrollo debe ser analizada, valorada, etc como para ser agregada como nueva facilidad, también dependera de cuantos usuarios la requieran para que llegue a implementarse. Puedes enviar tu sugerencia "enviar opinión" en el menu Ayuda, solicitando integración de contactos con GNOME. Otra alternativa es que alguien desarrolle una extensión, las extensiones son creadas por terceros. Finalmente declarar tu requerimiento como Bug, pero esto no es un bug si no estas requiriendo una nueva facilidad. Saludos
