Hi! How can I make online-video downloading more? I want to make it at least to 50% and may be even 100% and if internet have disconnected, I can watch video to the end. Tried to use media.mediasource.enabled;false and more media.cache_size and media.cache_readahead_limit, but I can't see video in this case with more than hd-quality (720p)

Most videos online requires some kinda buffering from the site. Did you ask the site about the video making process.

More what? Faster? More than one file at a time?

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a Download Manager.

This download manager works separately from the browser. The browser tells it what to download, and off it goes.

http://www.freedownloadmanager.org It is a powerful modern download accelerator and organizer for Windows and Mac.

Did you try to modify only these two prefs?

  • media.cache_readahead_limit = 9999
  • media.cache_resume_treshold = 9999
