How do I delete all of my collected addresses
I am running Tbird 6.7.0 on my PC.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get rid of collected addresses. I've gone into my address book and cannot find collected addresses. I have cleared my cache, but they are still there.
Would you please help me delete my collected addresses, many of which are old addresses that I have updated in my personal address book. And would you please tell me how to stop collecting addresses?
Thank you.

Look for View/Layout in Address Book, not the main window.

If you can't see Collected Addresses in Address Book, make sure the Directory Pane is enabled under View/Layout. Press Alt if the Menu Bar is hidden.
To stop adding outgoing addresses to Collected Address, uncheck the box in Tools/Options/Composition/Addressing.
I am looking under View/Layout. I don't have an option there for Directory Pane.
I have these options: Classic/wide/vertical view, Folder Pane (I have checked), Folder Pane Columns (tried, doesn't address my issue), and Message Pane (I have checked).
If you have another idea, I'd be most grateful.
I was able to follow your directions about collecting addresses. Thank you so much!

Thank you for helping me. I really appreciate it.
I just did that in the Address Book. It does not show collected addresses. I even did a search for it and it comes up empty.
This may be useful info...when I go into view it is showing me "All Address Books". That seems to be the only option I have. I don't know how to change that.
I figured it out. I clicked on the arrow to the left of All Address Books and it broke it down into directories. Then I deleted the Collected Addresses directory.
Thank you so much for helping me figure this out!
