Ever since I updated my Mac OS to Catalina, and updated Firefox to 70, any time I re-start my computer, Firefox does not recognize previous sessions and I have to open my tabs - including pinned tabs - over again. Then I get messages on my other devices saying Firefox has been opened on a new device. It doesn't recognize that I've been running Firefox before.

Chosen solution

Make sure Firefox gets installed properly.

Open the Firefox Disk Image file and drag the Firefox application to the Applications folder on your hard drive. You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the Disk Image, but instead drag it out of the DMG folder.

You can check the about:profiles page to see if you have multiple profiles and if necessary do a cleanup.
