Hi,

I need to modify the address in the address bar a lot, so I want to disable the feature that selects the whole address when I click in the address bar.

I hoped to disable it in about:config SelectsAll, setting that to false, but that doesn't work.

What should I do?

Thanks.

The clickSelectsAll prefs are no longer supported in Firefox 75 and later.

  • Bug 1621570 - browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll=false has no effect since 75b1
  • Bug 333714 - browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll should default to true on all platforms
