Recently when I started typing my mail address, mail.live.com, when I would type the 'm' a site called marxists.org started appearing at the top of the sites list. I'd never visited this site, and have no desire to, but as I was used to mail.live.com appearing at the top of the autocomplete results, I ended up clicking on this site a couple of times.

Has Firefox promoting political sites recently or is there some other explanation for this?

Click in the field, enter a character or two and STOP ! Using the arrow keys, highlight an unwanted entry.
Then press Shift > Delete Repeat as needed.

Thanks for your response. Shift+Del seems to just remove it on that occasion, but then it's right back next time I start typing.

I'm also wondering why it appeared to begin with seeing as I never searched for or visited this site.
