Have not updated my FireFox Browser since Ver. 61.0.2 because the next update eliminated the "Description" field/box under Bookmark Properties. Have any of the later versions restored this bookmark feature?

Relying on one add-on for which there is plenty of info on how to install it and import the bookmarks.html file, but very little info on whether it actually works, is not a good solution. The reviews on this add-on are about 10 positive and about 20 negative/didn't work. At this point I'm on the second camp.

I installed it, it automatically downloads your bookmarks file from FF (not a good move on the developer's part). Problem #1, every time you click on "Open Bookmark Notes" (to show the sidebar where it's located) produces a 50-60% of CPU resources, lasting for minutes (not seconds).

Problem #2, The "Notes" field is empty, on ALL bookmarks. i.e. it did not import the content of the "Description" field from the Bookmarks file.

So I went into Options -> Import -> Notes (plus "overwrite current notes") -> Import FF bookmarks.html file. Was I duplicating? Who knows, maybe. Did it work? NO. After taking up 50% of CPU resources for 5-6 minutes, it opened again with zero content under "Notes".

So this add-on it seems is only good for entering new descriptions of bookmarks under Notes.
