Can I get ALL gmail messages at once on POP3 ?, just getting 100 or so at a time. There are emails going back several years on this gmail account. I click on get messages and I may get 100 or 130 per try. Thanks

you get what the limits of google, your anti virus and your connection speed allow. SO you wait leaving Thunderbird open until the process completes. But why do you want all your old mails? GMail is happy to only give you the last 30 days or so or from a certain date.

If you are trying to archive use Google takeout. Much faster and more portable and can be imported to Thunderbird local folders after the event if you want.
