I recently copied the Thunderbird profile over from my old PC to new PC, all settings, emails and profile showed up and working properly except for one thing... When I click on the delete button on the new PC from inbox or sent folder, a pop up message will say "This will permanently delete messages from Trash. Are you sure you want to continue?" and the message will be deleted without going to the trash, on my old PC, it goes to the trash first...

I did not shift-click so no idea why the delete button is now behaving differently, I looked everything and the settings are identical on old/new machines... My account setting are to download mails and store locally and delete from server as with my old PC, and I do not see anywhere that there's option for what happens when I delete mail. Please help, I want to change the delete button behavior back to sending delete mail to trash first... Thanks!

Never mind... Deleted all the .msf and let all of the folder rebuilt themselves and it's now back to normal...
