I'm in permanent private browsing mode, so whenever I close Firefox the YouTube cookie exception I put under Manage exceptions gets deleted, now my question is if there is no way to make the exception permanent while in private browsing mode, why is the "Manage exceptions" menu enabled? why not disable it/grey it out?

hello revel,

I believe that regardless of the exception(s) you enter, the private mode will ignore it and delete what its designed to do.

ideally, FF needs a little redesigning so that the area where the user settings are, becomes all grayed out while in private mode.
