Hello, I have folder with old Firefox data, I need Google account name and password, mostly name. How can i decrypt the name from file logins.json or how can I import it to my current Firefox profile? In properties of passwords in Firefox I don't have option to import from file, I don't know how to find option that will let me do it.

Chosen solution

You can only import logins stored in a CSV file.

See the note at the bottom of this article about how to enable CSV in Lockwise import via the about:config page.

The only way to decrypt logins stored in a logins.json file is to place this logins.json file along with the matching key4.db in a Firefox profile folder and export the logins to CSV.

You can possibly create a new profile and place logins.json and key4.db in this profile to export the logins and import this CSV file in your current profile.

See "Creating a profile":

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).
