HI, I have just been trying to use the Softmaker / Textmaker database where you can import the address book to use with whatever is needed. However I had a problem, it required me to download a file called 'abook.mab'. It could not find this file. So I did a search of my C: drive. Neither could I. Please advise what I need to do to resurrect this file or do I have to generate it?

Regards Kevin

Chosen solution

the abook part is still the same, it is now abook.sqlite.

To examine contents of SQLite files I use https://sqlitebrowser.org/dl/ but it is a quite technical tool.

Thunderbird address book is no longer the abook.mab and the format of the storage file has changed from MORK to SQLite.

I suggest you ask someone involved with softmaker/ textmaker what their solution for recent Thunderbird versions is.

Thanks Matt, I've just emailed them. Do you know where the sqlite information is called and kept?
