Blocked Add-On
The Start Page add-on that I was using blocked with the following message. Because the add-on blocked without warning I can't access website links that I bookmarked within said add-on. I understand it was due to security reasons, but that doesn't recover my lost links.
"Speed Dial [FVD] New Tab Page, 3D Start Page, Sync has been blocked for your protection. Why was it blocked?
This add-on violates Mozilla's Add-on Policies.
This add-on violates Mozilla's policies as search functionality provided or loaded by the add-on must not collect search terms or intercept searches that are going to a third-party search provider. The add-on has repeatedly violated these terms despite Mozilla explicitly pointing them out. What does this mean?
The problematic add-on or plugin will be automatically disabled and no longer usable.
When Mozilla becomes aware of add-ons, plugins, or other third-party software that seriously compromises Firefox security, stability, or performance and meets certain criteria, the software may be blocked from general use. For more information, please read this support article.
Versions blocked: all versions. Blocked on Nov 23, 2021."
Chosen solution
Hi Morear, I'm sorry to hear about this problem. If you have an account with the developer, you may be able to recover the URLs by installing the add-on in Chrome or maybe Microsoft Edge (they should sync from that company's server).
Hoping for a simpler solution from the community as many people are affected.

Thanks for the quick response. I haven't sync with their servers for a long while actually. I know there's not much you can do about it. I just hope in the future you can mail the add-on users, so they would have a chance to make preparations.
Hi
In 2020, we became aware that the developer of the FVD add-on had begun intercepting search queries that were being sent to a third-party search provider, in clear violation of the Mozilla Add-ons Policies. After a repeated violation we again explicitly told them under which circumstances this type of data collection is not acceptable. At the time, the developer disabled the feature, and we continued to host FVD Speed Dial.
Recently we have become aware that the developer has re-enabled the offending functionality, which remains in violation of AMO policy. In light of these repeated offenses, we have blocked this addon. While we regret the impact that this has had on some of our users, we believe that our commitments to user safety and the importance of user trust in Firefox and its surrounding ecosystem have obligated us to take this action, and we stand by this decision.
