I just allowed an update to my computer from Mozilla called software updater and now I can't use duckduckgo to search the web. I had to use google to get to this page for help. Let me know right away how to remove the mozilla updater from my computer and get back to the firefox browser that works. This is interfering with my web searches and banking. This is extremely urgent.

Have you tried to alter the settings on the Search page in Settings? Preventing updates requires a technical solution for most users, it seems.
