more options

Every update to thunderbird seems to add new items to the message context menu. I'm currently seeing 25 lines, some with even more subsidiary choices.

Is there any way to edit the context menu so I can remove all the options I dont use?

Those options are built into the source code, so removal would be difficult. Funny, last week I had a request here to add MORE options. :)
