By default, Thunderbird saves all attachments on outgoing messages. I don't want to save any outgoing attachments, because I have them saved elsewhere.

How can I set the default to not save any outgoing attachment - or else to automatically delete attachments from outgoing messages?

You might try looking for an addon. https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/

Just a small legal point. It may not be relevant to you, but if it comes to litigation, how do you prove the copy you have of the file is the one attached to the email?
