firefox continues to run and hold on to all memory after exiting application
Hours after exiting firefox, the application continues to run processes and hold on to the memory it was using when I exited the application. The only way to free the memory is to key the processes via Task Manager

Use the menu command Quit (ctl+q).That's <Control><Shift> Q
Not on my browser. It's ctl+q. Must be different on Windows.
