can't view videos on teachable

more options

I cannot view videos on Teachable anymore. I used to be able to on Firefox. I have updated to the most recent version. I don't know why this is happening, and I use Firefox as my default browser so I would really like to be able to continue using it when I want to access courses on Teachable. The videos load for me on Chrome, so I know it has to be something with the browser.

It doesn't look like there is any error message or explanation displayed in the page.

If you check the left end of the address bar, near the lock, is the Autoplay block icon showing there? If so, try turning off blocking for the site.

Also, could you right-click (Ctrl+click) the blank area where the video should be and see whether there is a "This Frame" item on the menu -- this indicates an embedded page. If you find This Frame, try expanding that and opening the framed page in a new tab. One possible issue if, if the videos are hosted on a different server than the main page, there could be a cross-site cookie issue. More comments on that if it could be relevant.
